WEBSITE STRATEGY / MOVE

GoodLife Kids Foundation

Helping families find the right program and understand how to join.

My role at RhinoActive: website strategy, information architecture and registration UX. Design and development by the agency team.

A program with several ways in

MOVE offers physical activity and fitness programming for youth ages 12–21 with autism and intellectual disabilities. Families need to understand the program, compare virtual and in-person options, find a class and apply.

My job was to organize that information and plan the decisions between discovering the program and registering.

Participation journey — a simplified summary of the approach
  1. 01Understand MOVE

    Program information, expectations and FAQs.

  2. 02Choose a format

Virtual or in person, with class and location information.

  3. 03Find a class

    Schedules and participation options.

  4. 04Apply

A registration path shaped by the participant’s answers.

What I worked on

I developed the sitemap and information architecture, mapped the journey into registration and planned for changes in class availability and program information.

The registration form needed conditional logic. I mapped how answers would determine the next questions and the appropriate path, then translated that into functional requirements for the design and development team.

That included the connection between choosing a class and applying, so registration followed the decisions a family had already made.

What this work shows

Website planning beyond a list of pages: organizing content, mapping decisions and making form requirements clear enough to build.
